Word blog is made up of two English words WEB and LOG that is used for those website in which we upload information regularly .
Word WEB LOG was first used by John Barger in 1997 for his website:robotwisdom.com then it was used by Peter Merholz after making some changes he made it “we blog”
XANGA.COM is 1 of the known blog providers in the world but in 1998 they had only 100 blogs but in 2005 it crossed 20 million then there came many blog tools provider in the field of blogging .
Live Journal is also a known free blog provider that provides private or gernal discussion forums or social networking since 1999 they have made over 10.4 million blog communities.
Few years back blogs were used only for writing but now it is used for photo blogs,video blogs,music blogs,podcast blogs etc and still increasing every day.
WHY BLOGGING?
Blogging is 1 of the most common activity on internet million’s of users write their in their blog or read other people’s blog.
“GOOGLE Blogger” is the biggest centre of blogging they say that a blog is like your personal diary in which you write your experiences and other daily things that you do.Almost every company ask there employees to write blogs even Microsoft’s workers also write blogs daily .blogging nowadays is also being used as a way of earning over internet people display ads of their blogs almost every person that has blog is trying to earn through their blog.
America,Canada,UK,Australlia and New Zeland has almost 36 million blogs and these countries widely use blogging while Asia has 25 million blogs,Europe has 3 million blogs and Middle East has 10,000 blogs.
